Job Title: National Account Manager-On Premise

Position Reports To: Director National Accounts

Position Location/Territory:

Position Objectives: This role is responsible for the execution of SM USA Inc. brand priorities with National & Regional accounts by collaborating with Director National Accounts On Premise and District Sales managers to ensure corporate objectives are achieved.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Director to develop action plans for National & Regional Accounts
  • Penetrate key accounts and develop high level business relationship
  • Develop strong relationships with key account managers at the distributor level to ensure SM USA Inc. priorities are achieved
  • Conduct Distributor NAON team meetings-to inform national and regional account managers about corporate programming and objectives
  • Collaborate with district sales managers in their respected markets to execute national and regional programs
  • Understand brand trends and opportunities by utilizing data tools and analysis on a regular basis. Keep team members informed of trends and competitive activities
  • Monitor the on premise trends and developments as it relates to key accounts growth and new selling opportunities
  • Develop fact based selling tools
  • Monitor pricing and financial objectives of both SM USA and the customers
  • Conduct market work “withs” with distributor national account managers
  • Participate in trade market activities in the region

Additional Skills and/or Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of related wine industry experience with on premise national accounts
  • Keen understanding of the three-tier distribution system
  • Must be well organized with an ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills; with ability to gain commitment and initiate action.
  • Willing to travel and with overnight stays as needed
